Legislative Action
Following are pending Virginia bills impacting motorcycling. Refer to the Virginia Coalition of Motorcyclists, or Virginia State Legislators for more information.
HB 752 -- Allows motorcyclists to treat a red light as a stop sign after two minutes. Signed by the Governor! Effective July 1 2011.
HB 97 -- Eliminate the riding two-abreast law
HB 187 -- Prohibit Motorcycle only check points in VA.
